Valentine's Day

It's been a while since I posted anything and several events have come and gone without notice. Sorry about that. Here are some of the projects that have been keeping me busy this Valentine's weekend. Apart from our awesome snow fall last night, I have been consumed by flour, sugar, and heart shaped anythings!

    I got a box of strawberry-filled linzer tarts at the UUFW bake sale on Sunday, and all I can say is WOW!!!

    They were exquisitely beautiful and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. I am in awe...

    I can't believe how talented you are! Some people can make beautiful confections but they taste kind of 'eh.' Some people can make things that taste good, but don't have any visual appeal. But to do both -- wow! And not to mention your other talents as well.

    Thank you, Nancy, for the incredible praise! My mom actually made the strawberry preserves that were in those linzer cookies. We're glad you loved them so! Take care!
