Hello and Welcome!

Thank you for visiting my blog. I am new to blogging, so forgive me for not having all the bells and whistles of the more experienced bloggers out there. Hopefully I will switch this all over or link it to a registered URL soon, but for now I will be happy to just have a place where people can find and contact me (email me at AlongCameABaker(at)gmail.com or through this blog).

I will post several pictures of birthday and baby shower cakes I have done in the past, but will add newer items soon (with better photography skills as well!).

A little about me. I am relatively new to the Wilmington area and am newly licensed for baking. I have over 13 years experience in the catering industry and have been baking cakes for friends and family for several years now. I started selling my cakes while living in Montreal and really enjoyed the challenge of creating fanciful and delicious home-baked goods. Nothing beats the expression of awe from the birthday boy or girl or the expecting mom!
